Make Your Notary/Apostille Appointment
Effective Date: June 4, 2026
DNM, LLC dba 406 Notary Service ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information across our notary, printing, local officiating, and global virtual wedding divisions.
To execute our professional services and comply with statutory identification requirements, we may collect the following personal data:
Contact Information: Full legal names, physical residential addresses, shipping addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.
Identity Verification Data: Copies of government-issued identification (passports, driver's licenses), credential analysis parameters, and biometric verification metadata (processed via secure, authorized third-party identity validation partners during Remote Online Notarizations and virtual wedding screenings).
Ceremony & Document Metadata: Witness details (names, ages, locations), out-of-state registry numbers (including Utah County Clerk marriage license numbers), and structural transaction metadata.
Session Recordings: Audio-video recordings of official Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions as strictly mandated by state notary statutes.
We utilize the information we collect strictly to:
Deliver professional mobile notary, electronic notary, printing, courier, local officiating, and international virtual wedding coordination services.
Comply with all state, federal, and out-of-state regulatory frameworks.
Maintain mandatory notarial journal records as strictly required by Montana state law.
Coordinate out-of-state judicial handoffs by securely transmitting necessary client identifiers to our authorized Utah court ministers and the matching County Clerk offices to execute your legal marriage file.
We do not sell your personal data or structural metadata to anyone. We do not share your information with third parties except:
When legally required by law enforcement, court orders, or statutory mandates.
When necessary for service completion (e.g., transmitting files to title companies, law firms, out-of-state judicial officers, or state authentication departments for Apostille tracking).
We deploy industry-standard technical safeguards to keep your global footprint completely secure:
Notarial Journals: Digital journal entries are maintained using Jurat Inc Notary E-journal. Paper journals (if utilized) are stored in locked, physical security structures. Access is restricted solely to the notary who performed the service.
Retention Frameworks: Notarial journals and accompanying RON session video recordings are legally retained for ten (10) years as strictly mandated by Montana state law.
Secure Erasure: Electronic transaction documents, temporary file scans, and loose copies of identification are permanently expunged via secure deletion methods (including AVG Secure Shred) the absolute moment their corresponding service track is finalized.
Identity Numbers: We do not record or store raw identity numbers (such as Social Security or Passport numbers) within our local business database, capturing only the specific administrative elements required by law.
Because our global virtual wedding frameworks serve couples across the globe, we strictly comply with international and state-level privacy standards, including:
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for users positioned within the European Economic Area (EEA).
CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) for users positioned within the State of California.
If you are accessing our services from the EEA or California, you possess the following structural legal rights:
The right to access the personal data we hold about your profile.
The right to request immediate correction of inaccurate data.
The right to request the deletion of your data—subject to explicit statutory retention exceptions (such as mandatory 10-year notary journal preservation laws).
