DNM, LLC dba 406 Notary Service ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data.
1. Data We Collect We may collect the following information:
Names
Addresses
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Copies of identification (only when required by lenders, title companies, or hiring parties)
2. How We Use Your Data We use the collected information to:
Provide notary and related services
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Maintain notarial journal records as required by Montana law (10-year retention)
We do not sell your information. We do not share your data with third parties except:
When legally required
When necessary for service completion (e.g., working with title companies, law firms, etc.)
3. Data Storage and Security
Digital journal entries are maintained using Jurat Inc Notary E-journal.
Paper journals (if used) are stored in locked physical locations.
Electronic documents are shredded via AVG Secure Shred when no longer needed.
Identification copies, when required, are deleted via secure methods after use.
Your information is never stored longer than required, except for journal entries which are retained for 10 years as mandated by Montana law. We do not record identification numbers, only required elements.
Access to journal records is restricted to the notary who performed the service.
4. International Privacy Compliance We comply with international privacy laws including:
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for users in the European Economic Area
CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) for users in California
If you are located in the EEA or California, you have rights including:
Right to access
Right to correct
Right to request deletion (with exceptions for legal retention such as notary journals)

5. Data Processors and Tools We may use the following platforms:
Jurat Inc, Notary Gadget, Cognito Forms, Google Forms, Dropbox, Google Drive
Online notarization platforms: Pactima, Notarize/Proof, and others as needed
Payment processors: Stripe, Squareup (including CashApp), PayPal, Venmo
Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies and practices.
